FILD at the Light & Building 2016

Dear Lighting Designers, colleagues and friends of lighting,

„Light & Building“, the world’s biggest fair for lighting will start next week in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
The Federation of International Lighting Designers, FILD, will be present for the first time with its a own exhibition booth:

Hall 3, Level 1, Booth A26

FILD is looking forward to meet you during this great international event. We are also looking forward to informing you about the many benefits of being a part of FILD or answering any questions you may have about this new federation for lighting designers.

In the years to come, FILD has set itself the task of protecting, nurturing and encouraging the development and interests of the lighting design profession. In addition to representing the profession in the public realm, FILD aims to develop and engage in joint activities with universities, educational institutes and representatives of the lighting industry. A further objective is to inform and communicate, to prospective clients, partners and decisions makers, the importance of establishing a fair fee system for the lighting design profession. Through our targeted commitment to the profession in all of these areas, FILD wishes to make a strong contribution to the overall improvement of lighting design in both the public and private sector of the built environment.
As our name implies, FILD is an international body and we would like to invite all Lighting designers across all borders to apply for membership.
